Anxiety, Stress and Procrastination
As I sit here tonight writing in my blog, it really did not take me much time to decide what to write about. I am bad at procrastinating and tomorrow morning is my 10 minute presentation for BNI.
Of course I wailed until the night before at 8:00 PM to set up mt presentation, Talk about being stressed…. I found a couple of nice video clips I was going to use. Huh, I can’t download them to my computer. Now I am getting the early feelings of anxiety setting in.
Then I get a great idea, I have Camtasia so why not do a screen capture of the video? Oops, I have it only installed on my main PC in my office. I go to my office and get it done. Works great on media player and Quicktime.
I pack up all of my speakers and cables for my video tomorrow and when I move the files from my main PC to my laptop, no video, only sound. Now I am getting extremely anxious and stressed. I start thinking that nothing ever works out for me. I fugure it must be because my PC is a 32 bit system and my laptop is a 64. I don’t know, I can make a website but I dont know computers.
Well as if I am not in a full stress situation already, I find another video which will probably work out all right. I download as this one has a download link and it plays on windows media but no sound. That’s it! My anxiety is through the roof! I thought well I will try it on Quicktime, Would not load correctly. I went online and downloaded the updated video player for Quicktime and I am very pleased to say that I will be able to use this video in my presentation tomorrow.
If you already suffer from anxiety and stress, don’t procrastinate! This will give you time to fix things that may go wrong.
I am going to bed in peace now…
You are Awesome!!!
Talk soon…
Keep Moving Forward!
