In most situations in our jobs, our stress responses often cause our job performance to suffer. In order to deal with the most difficult problems in the workplace, we need to have a rational, sensitive, calm and controlled approach.

One effort to try to attain stress reduction on our job is to keep a Stress Diary.

The main idea behind the Stress Diary is that you record information, on a regular basis, about the different stresses you are experiencing, so that you will be able to analyze them and be able to manage them. Make sure to record the Who, What, Where, When and Why of the stressful event. This will help you to identify your future stress triggers.
